Terrain Types and Effects

Thank you for printing this page from www.SuperCheats.com. Remember to come back to check for updates to this guide and much more content for Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Added:

In the battlefield, you’ll encounter various terrain. These are tiles/spaces that give various bonuses and effects to the units standing on them. We won’t list all terrain types in this page since the game allows you to conveniently scout the battlefield and examine the various terrain and their respective effects before and during the battle.

Fliers are mostly unaffected by terrain effects, both positive and negative. Flying units however can Dismount and fight on foot to take advantage of a beneficial terrain effect. You can’t dismount fliers over restrictive terrain that’s only navigable to flying units like ponds or cliffs.

In the Battle Prep screen, select Map to freely explore the battlefield. Move the cursor to a terrain then press X to display the details in the upper left corner of the screen. It's a good practice to scout the battlefield before starting the battle so you can plan ahead the position of your units and how to approach various locations towards you goal.
