The game has a total of 34 stages, seven of them are hidden at the start. You can unlock them by following this page. Each of the stages are themed after each of the characters that are part of the game's roster or some of Nintendo's popular titles. Each stage has two forms: the Normal or Final Destination Forms. You can toggle between the two versions by pressing X in the Stage Selection screen. The cursor should also change accordingly.

Normal Stages

These are the default setting of stages, complete with their own fixed transitions, transformations, environmental hazards, platforms, etc. Being able to recognize signs before a stage's transition or scripted event can significantly improve your chances and use those hazards against unsuspecting foes.

Final Destination Form

This is the simpler, alternate version of stages. Final Destination Forms (or simply called Forms) retains only one, single platform where the players will duke it out against each other. There are no environmental hazards, except the free fall below. There are also no platforms, scripted events, transitions, or stage transformations. This allows players to concentrate on their battle, without the worry of navigating through various obstacles or events.
