Unlockables

The game features 12 Unlockable Characters. Unlocking these characters have different but similar requirements. This includes playing a certain number of Solo Smash, Group Smash, and Online matches. Each character has an alternate method of getting unlocked, like playing as specific characters, or completing various modes in a set number of times. Once the conditions are met, the unlockable character will challenge you as soon as you finish your previous fight.

Once the character challenges you, you'll have to defeat him or her using the character you last used in the previous battle. If ever you lose, you just need to participate in another battle and the unlockable character will challenge you once more.
