Available: After reaching Lake of the Nine for the first time.
Head to the northeast of Tyr’s Temple to find the location, Stone Falls. The spirit that will give the quest is found beside the large gear wheel that will open the massive gates to Veithurgard.
Cross the Veithurgard Pass until you reach the small lake of the region. Thor’s statue is found on a small island to the left while the region’s mainland is found to the right. There are only two enemies on the island but both are very powerful especially if you’re visiting it for the first time. However, you can still defeat them with careful planning and abusing ranged attacks.
First, deal with the heavy draugr by the beach in front of the statue. Carefully watch its attacks and to be safe, use your axe throws to keep your distance. Keep Atreus shooting at it so you can have a clear shot. Don’t forget to use your runic attacks as well, preferably when the draugr is not attacking you. (remember that you’ll still sustain a bit of damage while performing a runic attack)
The other enemy is much more dangerous, found in the beach at the back of the statue. It’s a speed draugr, capable of rushing towards you and unleashing devastating strikes. If it’s HP gauge is purple, then your underpowered to tackle it at close range. The best way to deal with it is by docking on the front beach and luring it to the ledge where you can safely pummel it with range attacks and arrows. Take note that it can still climb up the ledge so use your powerful axe throws and runic attacks when it's attempting to climb to knock it back.
After defeating the speed draugr, loot the wooden chest inside the cave then you can safely concentrate on destroying the statue. Look up and aim your axe at the legs of the statue first. Notice the chain-like marker? Hit that to destroy the designated part.
Next, aim for the arm holding the hammer. You should also see the same marking and an Eye of Odin raven flying around the statue. Time your throw to hit it and register the Kill to your journal.
Finally, head in front of the statue and destroy the highlighted part by the statue’s left arm and leg. This should destroy the statue completely. While you can hold off from turning in this quest to explore the region of Veithurgard first, I recommend completing the favor first by returning to the spirit at Stone Falls.
As a reward, you’ll obtain a unique material called Offering to Tyr. When brought to Brok, this will allow you craft Tyr’s Lost Unity Gauntlets, a rare wrist armor with good stats and enchantment sockets. This is a very useful equipment upgrade early on.
