Location: Hidden Chamber of Odin, The Mountain

The actual arena where you’ll face Eir is quite enclosed so you’ll have to rely on your quick reflexes to evade her quick attacks. This can actually work in your favor as well since you’ll be able to catch her easily with your runic attacks.

She has an unblockable stunning melee attack, followed up by a hard scepter smash. She can also perform a blockable air-to-ground scepter rush. These attacks leave her open for counterattack so you can easily catch her with your runic attacks. If you can, order Atreus to fire light arrows while she’s performing these attacks so you can deal the most damage during your counterattack while the weakening effect of the light arrows are still active.

She can perform a wing slash combo but unlike her sisters, she can perform more slashes. Fortunately, these are blockable so keep your guard up until you see an opening to parry or counterattack.

When her HP is low, Eir will start shielding herself with her wings when she starts to get pummeled by your combos. When she does this, quickly back away since she’ll counterattack with a melee-range strike shortly after, including a quick, unblockable jab.

You have to watch out for her powerful area attack that can deal a huge amount of damage and stun. This is usually a game-ender if you’re critically wounded near the end of the battle. The only way to avoid this is by keeping out of the attack’s area of effect which is quite hard especially if she starts casting it nearby and with the small battlefield.

Like other valkyrie fights, you have to fight defensively by watching out for her attacks. Evade the unblockable ones and parry/block the blockable ones then counterattack with runic attacks. Quickly keep your distance and stop attacking when she shields herself with her wings. Strong attacks are good substitutes in case your runic attacks are in cooldown. Save your Spartan Rage for clutch moments or for finishing her off aggressively.
