Bottoms Up

This artifact set is exclusively found inside The Mountain. However, you can only collect the 4 of the 6 pieces during your first visit. The remaining 2 will be obtainable during your mandatory return trip in the later chapters of the Journey.

Artifact 1

While traversing the dark caves, you’ll come across a large cavern with a nornir chest and stone bridge. In that area, you’ll find a room with a broken wooden door. Enter that room and clear out the objects by the wall to reveal a knight’s corpse with this piece in front of it.

Artifact 2

Once you reach the part of the mine where you have to push a large cart (after passing through the spiked corridor after Brok’s shop), there’s a spiked door on the wall that you can open. The artifact is found in front of a corpse inside.

Artifact 3

After defeating Hraezlyr, continue to the cave until you find a crane covered with sap. Destroy the sap at the bottom to find an alcove behind the shatter crystal. The cup is located in front of the corpse inside the alcove.

Artifact 4

Upon reaching the exiting the Mountain’s snowy summit for the first time, cross the narrow path then turn to the path to the left. There should be a knight corpse to the immediate left where this cup is located.

Artifact 5

Upon returning to the Mountain during the journey quest “Chapter 11: Return to the Summit”, you’ll be back in the mining area where you used the giant crane to ascend further up the mountain. Remember the sap-covered platform here? Destroy it with Atreus’ shock arrows. This will allow you to open the coffin inside as well as the cup in front of a corpse.

Artifact 6

Upon returning to the Mountain during the journey quest “Chapter 11: Return to the Summit”, continue along until you face off a Frost Ancient. After defeating it, continue along the straightforward path and you’ll find a lore scroll and the cup in front of a corpse along the way, right before you shimmy across a wall.
