Location: Hidden Chamber of Odin, Foothills

Geirdriful is quite dangerous because aside from her agility, she also has a wide variety of ranged and melee attacks at her disposal, making it hard to predict her movements. You’ll have to properly react in order to avoid taking damage and counterattack properly. First, she has an unblockable blinding attack that deals miniscule damage but will cause lasting blindness, making it hard to see her attacks, especially the unblockable ones. Keep moving around and prepare to evade until the effect wears off. Have Atreus fire his arrows so you’ll know Geirdriful’s general direction based on where he’s firing.

She has a spinning wing attack that deals continuous damage and will prevent you from moving until the move’s completion. She’s still vulnerable while doing this attack so have Atreus fire his arrows continuously to chip a bit of her HP.

She can also dart towards you and when you’re caught, she’ll pin you down and drag you along the floor, dealing considerable damage. This attack is unblockable so make sure to evade to the side. If you manage to avoid this flying attack, she’ll be open for a counterattack, preferably with a heavy runic attack as she recovers from her landing.

Her ranged attacks include an unblockable light wave that will streak across the ground, a volley of homing halos, and a larger, unblockable light halo that she’ll throw at you.

Be careful when she throws sharp feathers at you from her left wing since it is usually followed up by an unblockable right-hand/wing hook. You have to evade to your right to avoid getting hit by this attack. This hook is also usually the finisher of her standard twin wing slash melee attacks.

Due to her exceptional movement and recovery speed, you have to make your counterattacks count, especially during the moments when she’s vulnerable. Using ranged or area runic attacks will help in dealing damage and interrupting her attacks when activated at the right moment. Save your Spartan Rage for clutch moments or for finishing her off aggressively, especially when she’s down to one HP bar.
