What Move Tutors Are There

As in all Mainstream Pokemon Games, there are a number of Move Tutors found scattered through the Kanto Region in Pokemon FireRed. Unlike newer Mainstream Pokemon Games, the Move Tutors found in this game actually teach Pokemon Moves that can only be learned via this method. There are no TMs or HMs for the Pokemon Moves that the Move Tutors will be able to teach your Pokemon, making them a luxury you should sure cash in on.

Available Move Tutors:

Dream Eater: An attack that cause massive damage to sleeping foes. Move Tutor can be found in Viridian City behind HM Cut Tree.

Seismic Toss: An attack that does the same amount of damage as the User Pokemon's Current Level. Move Tutor can be found in the Pewter City Museum.

Mega Kick & Mega Punch: Two powerful attacks, but ones with not the best accuracy. The Move Tutors are the Black Belts on Route 4.

Rock Slide: A decent attack that can cause a foe to also flinch. Move Tutor can be found in Rock Tunnel.

Counter: An attack that does double the amount of damage taken from a Physical Attack on the same turn. Move Tutor can be found in the TV Department in Celadon City.

Softboiled: A healing move that heals a Pokemon recover 50% of their Maximum Hit Points. Move Tutor can be found across the pond in Celadon City.

Substitute: An attack that creates a substitute for the User Pokemon to take damage. Move Tutor can be found in Fuchsia City Zoo.

Thunder Wave: An attack that cause paralysis to a foe. Move Tutor can be found in the Silph Co. Building in Saffron City.

Mimic: An attack the copies the move previously used by a foe. Move Tutor is the Saffron City Copycat.

Metronome: A strange attack that causes a User Pokemon to use any Pokemon Attack in existence randomly. The Move Tutor can be found in the Cinnabar Island Lab.

Double Edge: A very strong attack that also causes damage to the User Pokemon. Move Tutor can be found in Victory Road.

Explosion: A very strong attack that also cause the User Pokemon to faint. Move Tutor can be found on Mt. Ember within One Island.

Frenzy Plant/Blast Burn/Hydro Cannon: The Ultimate Elemental Attacks that only the Final Evolution of Stater Pokemon can learn. Move Tutor can be found on Cape Brink with Two Island.

Body Slam: An attack that cause damage and could possibly paralyze a foe. Move Tutor can be found in a house on Four Island.

Swords Dance: An attack that raises the User Pokemon's Attack Stat. Move Tutor can be found on the dock of Seven Island.
