What is The Fame Checker

The Fame Checker is an item similar to the PokeNav's Trainer Eyes. With it, players can learn a bit of trivia about the Major Non-Playable Characters found within Pokemon FireRed. Unlike Trainer Eyes, however, the Fame Checker cannot check for Pokemon Battle Rematches, which is why the VS Seeker was created. The Fame Checker will update throughout your journey with new information about these characters when you interact with certain signs, books, and other characters.
