Cerulean City Gym

Walkthrough

The Cerulean City Gym is home to Gym Leader Misty, a Water Type Pokemon Trainer. This Pokemon Gym is also pretty basic, having no difficult puzzle to figure out like Pokemon Gyms later on. Instead, only two trainers stands between you and Misty, and that's only if you decide to battle both of them. Defeat or maneuver around these trainers, and you will earn access to challenging Misty for your second Gym Badge.

Swimmer Luis: Level 16 Horsea, 16 Shellder

Picnicker Diana: Level 16 Goldeen

Because Misty specializes in Water Type Pokemon, she is extremely weak against Electric Type Pokemon and Grass Type Pokemon. Fire Types, Ground Types, and Rock Types are extremely weak against Water Type Pokemon, so avoid using them if you can. Defeat Misty to earn the Cascade Badge and TM03 (Water Pulse).
