What Is Single Battle Mode

Thank you for printing this page from Remember to come back to check for updates to this guide and much more content for Pokemon FireRed

Single Battle Mode is one of four different Battle Formats found at the Trainer Tower. As the name suggests, players will challenge the trainers standing in their way to the top floor of Trainer Tower in Single Battles. Like all of the other Battle Formats at Trainer Tower, you will need to defeat one trainer on each floor in Single Battle Mode, with there being eight floors in all. Each opposing trainer will have Pokemon at the same level of the highest leveled Pokemon in your Party. Defeat all eight trainers in Single Battle Mode to receive the Up-Grade, an Evolutionary Item that can be held by Porygon in order to Evolve into Porygon2 when traded.
