How To Defeat Elite Four Bruno

Last Updated:

After obtaining all eight Kanto Gym Badges and making it through Victory Road, you will arrive to Indigo Plateau where the Pokemon League is found. The Pokemon League is comprised of the Elite Four and Kanto Region Champion, five trainers you must defeat consecutively in order to become the next Champion. These trainers are the best of the best found within the Kanto Region, so be prepared for five difficult Pokemon Battles in a row.

The second Elite Four Member is none other than Bruno, the same who specializes in using Fighting Type Pokemon. Flying Type Pokemon have the advantage over Fighting Types, and though that remains true against Bruno's Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee and Machamp, you also have to be cautious should you choose to use one. This is because two of Bruno's Pokemon are part Rock Types, which have the upper hand against Flying Types. With this in mind, it would be best to have at least one Flying Type or Psychic Type on your Pokemon Team for Bruno's Fighting Types, as well as a Pokemon or two that knows a Water Type Attack to help with Bruno's Rock Types.
