Legendary Pokemon Suicune

Thank you for printing this page from Remember to come back to check for updates to this guide and much more content for Pokemon FireRed

After completing the Main Story and obtaining the National Pokedex from Professor Oak, the Legendary Pokemon known as Suicune will begin to randomly roam throughout the Kanto Region if you chose Charmander as your Starter Pokemon when your journey first began. Suicune is one piece of the Johto Legendary Beast Trio, being a pure Water Type Pokemon. If found, Suicune will be at Level 50 and will know the moves Bubblebeam, Rain Dance, Gust, and Aurora Beam.

Unfortunately, Suicune will attempt to flee on the first turn of the battle with it. Thankfully, you can attempt to from prevent it from doing so by having your Pokemon use a move known as Block. This will force Suicune to stay in battle against your Pokemon Team, allowing you to lower its HP in order to catch it. Because it's a pure Water Type, Suicune is especially weak against Electric Type Pokemon and Grass Type Pokemon. Since Suicune isn't the strongest Legendary Pokemon you will encounter during the game, use Ultra Balls to try to capture it.
