Walkthrough
Just north of the other side of Route 2 is Pewter City. This is the location of both the Pokemon Museum and the first Pokemon Gym. After healing your Pokemon at the Pokemon Center and checking out the Museum, head to the Pewter City Gym to earn your first Gym Badge. You won't be able to proceed east of Pewter City on Route 3 until you have done so.
