What Is Mixed Battle Mode

Mixed Battle Mode is one of four different Battle Formats found at the Trainer Tower. As the name suggests, players will challenge the trainers standing in their way to the top floor of Trainer Tower in Mixed Battles (a combination of all the other Battle Formats). Like all of the other Battle Formats at Trainer Tower, you will need to defeat the trainers on each floor, with there being eight floors in all. Each opposing trainer will have Pokemon at the same level of the highest leveled Pokemon in your Party. Defeat all eight floors of trainers in Mixed Battle Mode to receive the King's Rock, an Evolutionary Item that can be held by Poliwhirl or Slowpoke in order to Evolve them into Politoed or Slowking, respectively, when traded.
