Pewter City Gym

Walkthrough

The Pewter City Gym is home to Gym Leader Brock, a Rock Type Pokemon Trainer. The Pokemon Gym is pretty basic, having no difficult puzzle to figure out like Pokemon Gyms down the road. Instead, only one lone trainer stands between you and Brock. Defeat them, and you will earn access to challenging Brock for your first Gym Badge.

Camper Liam: Level 10 Geodude, Level 11 Sandshrew

Because Brock specializes in Rock Type Pokemon, he is extremely weak against Water Type Pokemon, Grass Type Pokemon, and even Fighting Type Pokemon. Fire Types, Bug Types, and Flying Types are extremely weak against Rock Type Pokemon, so avoid using them if you can. Defeat Brock to earn the Boulder Badge and TM39 (Rock Tomb).
