DIY Homes: Peaceful Patio

DIY Homes: Peaceful Patio is a seven day Limited Time Event where you can unlock a set of beautful patio furniture for you Sim's homes. If you are able to complete it within the time limit, then you can the super cosy Make-Out couch - And who knows what your Sims will be able to get up to on it!

Here is a run down of what you need to do to complete this Quest, we'll do our best to explain everything, but if you need extra help, feel free to leave a comment.

Remember you can get to the DIY Home at any point by using a phone. This will become clear as you play through this Quest.

Talk to Bree - 1 min

She's in the Park. Whistle a Sim to the Park, find her (at Park entrance) and have a chat.

Ponder in a Chair - 2 mins 42 secs

Send your Sim home so they can do this.

Call a Friend - 4 mins 30 secs

Use a phone.

Call a Cab to the DIY Home - Instant

Use a phone again to do this.

Question Bree - 3 hours 30 mins

You do this at the DIY Home after you have taken a cab there. Just tap her for the option.

Join Bree for an Interview - 18 hours 30 mins

Just tap Bree again for this option (as long as your Sim is nearby).

Watch the Interview at the DIY Home - 4 mins 30 secs

Do this at the DIY Home, there is a TV on the ground floor.

Read the DIY Magazine at the DIY Home - 9 hours 30 mins

You'll find these on the table near the TV in the DIY Home.

Remember to get back to the DIY home, you just need to call a cab from any phone.

Have two Sims at the DIY Home - Instant

You can Whistle for one if you already have a Sim at the DIY home. Otherwise use the telephone to call a cab.

Discuss Patios with a Sim - 10 mins

This should be done between the two Sims at the DIY home. Tap one of them and find the right option.

Present Ideas to Bree - 45 mins

Tap Bree to get this option.

Measure the Patio Space - 18 hours 30 mins

Send a Sim home, then click the Blue X that is probably in your front garden.

Finalise the Patio Plan - 6 hours 30 mins

You need to send the second Sim back to the DIY Home. Either whistle from the DIY home to get him there. Or use a phone. Once there, tap on the speech bubble on top of Bree's head.

Bake Pumpkin at the DIY Home - 10 hours

Do this at the oven in the DIY Home. Look for the Pumpkin Pie option in the Baking section.

Prepare Lemonade at the DIY Home - 3 hours 10 mins

Tap the fridge to do this.

Clean the DIY Home - 1 Day

Tap the Cupboards in the kitchen to reveal this option.

Buy Outdoor Decorations - 5,000 Simoleans

Go home and buy 5000 Simoleans or more of outdoor decorations for the garden.

Fall Asleep in the Bath - 2 hours 40 mins

Hang out with a Sim - 1 Day

Whistle for another Sim to come to be with another Sim, then choose the Hang Out option.

Call Bre - 4 mins 30 secs

Use any phone for this.

Build a Patio - Instant

Open up the Home Store tab to do this.

Have 3 Sims at the DIY Home - Instant

Remember you can use a phone to take you to the DIY home instantly, from there you an whistle for more Sims to join you.

Have 3 Sims Party with Bree - 8 hours 30 mins

Find the Outdoor Stereo to do this and have the other Sims 'Join In'. If youare going to use LP to skip through this Event, you will need to use it 3 times (once for each Sim!)

Talk to Bree - 5 mins

Find Bree at the DIY Home and tap her.

Have all Sims Leave the DIY Home - Instant

You can send them back to their own homes easily or to work using the SIm Tracker popup.

That is the end of the Quest, congratulations, you've unlocked Patios! You can build them via the Home Store > Outside. If you managed to complete the quest within the time limit, then you would have also unlocked the Make Out Couch... Ooooo :)
