The Mission to Flag and Activate the New Hobby for Senior Sim-citizens: The Quilting Hobby... As is the custom with the other Quests, in order to add a new hobby in your Sim World, you must first flag and complete the mission for that hobby - in this case that is the Mission called "In Stitches."

This Mission requires that you complete the following steps (or Quests). IF you compete these quests within the timer (which is 5d 23h 59m) you will unlock the special reward prize of the Patchwork Teddy - which you can then purchase from the in-game store. While this is not, strictly speaking, a very special prize, it is rather nice and it gives your Toddler Sims something to play with.

The Quest Series for In Stitches

Your quest to add the newest Hobby to your game for Seniors begins with flagging and completing the following numbered Quests within the 6h timer provided...

  1. Ring a Friend using your Phone* (3m)

Ring one of your Mates using the "Ring a Friend" action on your House Phone...

  2. Bring a Sim to the Town Park (Instant)

Use The Town Map to visit the Town Park and then use the Sim Finder to whistle a Sim there...

  3. Gaze serenely on a Park Bench (21h 35m)

Once you have a Sim at the Town Park, tap the bench there and select the "Gaze Serenely" action...

  4. Ask a Sim about the Serene Gaze (14h)

Tap your Sim then tap the "Ask about Serene Gaze" action.

  5. Bake an Apple Pie (40m)

At one of your Sim Homes use the Stone / Oven to select the action to Bake an Apple Pie...

  6. Give some Pie to another Sim (1h)

Tap another Sim in the home and use the Share Pie action...

  7. Feed the Ducks (15m)

Have a Sim go to the Town Park and then tap on the Ducks to use the "Feed the Ducks" action...

  8. Paint a Picture (3h)

At your Sim Home tap the picture canvas and stand and select the "Paint a Picture" action.

  9. Freak out over Amazing Picture (1m)

Have your Sim overreact by tapping your Sim then selecting the "Freak Out" action...

  10. Draw out Chess Game (24h)

Bring two Sims to the Town Park and have them sit at one of the Chess Tables - then have them play, selecting the appropriate action...

  11. High-Five another Sim (1s)

After the game is over have both Sims stand then tap a Sim and select the appropriate action...

  12. Ring the Old Sim Back (10h 40m)

Using the phone in your Sim home, select the appropriate action...

  13. Get Overexcited at Another Sim (1m)

Tap another Sim and then select the appropriate action...

  14. Search for Quilting Online (4h 25m)

In your Sim's home use their computer to select the appropriate action...

  15. Drive to the Quilt Fair (24h)

Exit your Sim's home and tap their Car at the curb, selecting the appropriate action...

  16. Make a Fancy Coffee* (3m)

Use the Coffee Maker on the Kitchen Counter in your Sim Home to select the appropriate action - if you lack such a device purchase one and place it first...

  17. Grow Potatoes (2h)

Using the Garden Plot outside of your Sim's Home, select it and then tap the Grow Potatoes action...

  18. Heat Hands in Warm Water (14m)

Using the kitchen sink inside your Sim's Home select the appropriate action...

  19. Play “Quilting Mama” Game (10h)

Sitting down on the couch or a chair facing their Television Set, have your Sim play the game by tapping the TV and selecting the appropriate action...

  20. Get the Quilting Kit (From the The Promotions Shoppe / Cost = $2,500)

Access The Town Map then tap the Promotions Shoppe, page through the menu and select the Quilting Kit. Complete the purchase to complete this task. Place the Quilting Kit in your Senior Sim's Home!

* The quality of the device being used will effect the time it takes to complete the task - the higher the quality as measured in starts, the faster the task.

Having completed all of the above Quests you have completed the Quilting Hobby activation Mission! Well done you! Good on ya!
