As the game matures and Changes so too must our tactics in terms of how we play and how we help each other to play. The Courtesy House is the perfect example of this.
Originally when the idea of a Courtesy House was first kicked around for most players it meant building a Haunted House on a lot that none of their Sims actually lived at. The house was used to hold as many of the Haunted Items and Objects as possible - and included all of the standard items that a Sim Home would have so that visiting Sims could keep their Stats up while they worked the various Quests to earn SP and also, for Simmers who lacked the accoutrements in their home town, worked various hobbies and Jobs as they apply.
As the game matured though, and the number of different Objects grew, it became evident that a second type of Courtesy House was required - a Jobs House.
Where the first Courtesy House contains all of the Hobby-based Objects that are required - and usually but not always includes a second floor with a fire pole for the SP Quests that require that - this second Jobs House holds all of the objects used for Career development, including (but not limited to) Fashion and Woodworking Tables, the Politics Mirror, and etc.
Locating the Courtesy Houses
It is traditional to place the two Courtesy Houses in the two isolated lots in the bottom left hand corner of the Game Play map - directly south of the Art Museum.
In addition to building the Jobs House with all of the Career-related Objects it should also contain a bedroom with a bed, couch, TV, and wardrobe and a fully equipped bathroom at a minimum to allow your visitors to keep their Sims refreshed.
We're in the process of adding some courtesy Houses to help with your social Goals. I have one in my town and will update this page when I add more. Please subscribe to our guide updates to stay updated.
My Gamecenter ID is DaGardnerz - you can add me to help fill your social Goals.
Here is a screenshot of how the house looks now.
And here is the location. We've stuck it just to the left of the bridge on the screenshot below.
The new social Goals system in the game has demonstrated the need to add a Courtesy House in your town so that visiting Neighbors will have a single destination that they can head to in order to complete most of those goals.
The most common choice for placing the Courtesy House is on the lot in the bottom-left-hand-corner of the map. For our Courtesy House we decided to go with a Haunted House Theme - since Ghost Hunting Actions are one of the goal topics and besides, that gives all the Sims in our town who are working the Ghost Hobby a single destination to do it!
As you can see from the image above, we went whole-hog on decorating the place - but that is not an uncommon approach for serious FreePlay fans - after all your Courtesy House represents you to the community of players at large, right? So looking your best means looking good!
In addition to the obvious Items a Courtesy House should contain as many of the items required for social Goals completion, which at a minimum would include the following:
That is just a start - we will add any other useful required Items when we discover them!
Hey folks...I have a "hobby house" or courtesy house that accommodates every social task (103 out of 103 tasks). It's in the first house you get in the game (the one by the bridge) and has a gingerbread roof. All items are 3-star and the third floor has lots of haunted objects. I even have a stove on fire already for ya ;) If you'd like access to this house as a one-stop place for all your social goals you can add me to your Game Center. My ID is luckymindy

I'm not getting xp or money from my workplace movie studio. There is no countdown over it either, however, my Sims can go to work. What's up?
The Party Boat is linked to your Facebook Account basically. You need to link your game to your Facebook account in the settings, and then you can access the Party Boat through which you can then add friends FROM Facebook.

Is any part of the party boat on facebook

Don't know how old this posting is, but I just got a social task to practice auctioneering in a friend's neighborhood so an auction podium somewhere in the set up would also be appreciated, for anyone who is making one of these!

I am always stuck on some of my social goals, so would you please tell me your game center username so i can add you? You seem like you have a courtesy house, as you have a photo of it. I would be very thankful if you told me
Thank you. Time to go more some stuff around
Sorry that should read the lot at the bottom LEFT corner - I am fixing it now.
The lot in the bottom right hand corner of the town map is where the SimStudios are located. Are you referring to the lots behind the swim center?
