Recently Sims FreePlay received an update to where your Sims could work, in the form of Professions. Now your Sims can participate in three different professional Careers; Police, Film Maker and Medical Staff.
While professions are still Careers, they can also earn resources which can be used to upgrade the workplace (workstations).
First of all, lets take you through the steps needed to unlock the Professions.
Find the Police Station on the map, enter it and call a Sim to the building. Tap the briefcase and assign your Sim to their brand new Job at the Police Station. Set your Sim to work at the the actual Police Station.
Next you have to give some help to your new recruit. At the Police Station, there will appear another Sims, tap the icon over their head to get your Sim to help them out.
The next task is actually the same thing over again, so tap the icon over the guy's head to help him out again.
Check Workplace Storage - At the Police station, tap the Professions Menu, and tap the Storage Tab, you should see it in the top left corner of the screen.
Check Workplace Overview - At the Police Station, tap onthe Professions Menu again to reach the Workplace Overview
Now as before help out another Sim at the Police Station - remember you'll need your new Police recruit in the Police Station for you to be able to do this.
Check the Work Shift Quota
The more Sims you can help out during a shift, the more rewards you can pick up, This info is shown at the bottom right of the screen in the work Bar, when your Sim is selected. Tap the number that relates to people that you have helped to complete this part of the task.
Fulfill Special Request
Tap the icon above the Sim that has just arrived at the Police Station to complete this task
Trade Resources
At the Police Station, select the police badge at the top left corner of the screen (Professions Menu) and head to the Resource Exchange Tab. Make the suggested exchange.
Upgrade a Workstation
You now have enough to upgrade your Surveillance Van. Select it and choose 'Upgrade'.
This completes your professions training.
