After completing the Life Dreams and Legacy Quest, you may be wondering what exactly happens now!

We have two other pages in our guide which may help explain things:

Life Orbs:

Consequences of Death:

This page here, will take a look at the process of fulfilling the Life dreams of one of our Sims.

We start off with the Orb which was generated on the death of our Sim when we completed the Life Dreams and Legacy Quest.

We collected that, added it to our inventory and gave it to a new baby in the Game. This had the effect of adding a 'Personality' based on the orb. Let's go through the steps that we took to complete the Life dreams of this Sim.

First things first, the game says we need to age up our infant to a toddler. So when you are ready to do that (assuming you have completed any current toddler related quests - eg Nanny Knows Best) go ahead and click the Advance Age option.

Now we have to choose a life dream. This will vary from player to player, depending on the Personality of the Sim I'll post only they selections we made:

I want to learn about entertaining by watching TV

This is a really versatile goal with lots of time options. You don't need an Adult to help either.

Another good option is

I want to listen to a lot of music on stereos

Again, a lot of time options and you don't need an Adult to help.

Now you need to get your Sim to do this action.

You may need to do this chosen action a number of times

Once you have gained enough XP towards your toddler's life dream, you will be prompted to Age up your Sim.

Now your Sim will be Pre-Teen, she is a geek, so the best option for me is:

I want to pretend I’m in a cryogenic sleep in a spaceship bed - Various Time Options up to 24 hours, we like the Deep Sleep option for 550 XP in 6 hours 30 mins.

If you don't get that option you can also select Not Now, and bring the menu up again and the list will change. A pre-teen or Adult bed is good for this task.

As before, once you have completed this Life Dream task enough times, you will be prompted to Age up your Sim.

My Sim is now a Teen, with a Geek Personality, the option we liked best here is:

I want to become an expert on ‘ward of the things’ by watching it all the time - 8 hours for 862XP (this may vary)

Very Helpful
