Dream Daycare - Live Event

This part of our guide applies to the Dream Daycare live Event running during September 2017.

You'll need a Crafting Station to complete this Event.

1) Go to the 'Event Items' tab (select furniture tab if you don't see it) of the home store or inventory and place a Candle Station in a home lot. The Candle Station is a free item.

On our version of the game, we have set aside a single house of Items like these.

2) Have a Sim make some candles at a Candle Station

- Make 50 Candles, 23 seconds

This allows you to unlock the Moonlight Siesta pack, which is a set of nightlights that can be found in the Lighting section of the Home Store

3) Next you will need to restock a Crafting Station.

Click your crafting station, and select the 'restock' option. I chose the restock '2' in 10 seconds option.

4) Plant a Coin Flower Patch and plant a spin flower on it.

You can find a Coin Flower Patch in the Event Items Tab. Put one of these in your garden and plant a Spin Plant, this is free to do one time. Here you can win constructor coins which can be used in this Dream Daycare Event. If you want to spin again, you'll need to make more candles or use LP.

You can win extra rewards to help you complete this Event by completing Daily Goals. Now would be a good time to check the Daily Goals tab of the event screen to see what you have completed already and other tasks that you can complete.The event screen icon is located usually in the top left of your screen. The Daily Goals is the top left tick tab.

It looks to me at this point we need to get on and continually craft candles and restock the crafting station. Have a Sim to do this for you for as much as you can.

You can actually have up to FOUR Candle Stations, so for the best chance of completing this Event, make all four, it will cost some Simoleans, but it will give you a better chance of completing this event. Call over more Sims to your Lot to utilise your extra Crafting Stations.

5) Continue to Collect Items

So with your four Crafting Stations constructed and being utilised by four Sims, it won't be long until the are crafting you a ton of candles, when you see a candle icon appear over a Sims head, click it to complete this task.

As you craft and collect more Items, you will unlock other workstations, the first being the Pottery Station, followed by the Jewellery Station and finally the Glassware Station. For each of these you can build four workstations, so this will greatly increase the number of items you can produce.

The most efficient farming method is always the shortest time period available to make things (eg 2 and a half hours option), as long as you are sure you will revisit the game in two and a half hours to collect Items and reset the task again. Overnight, obviously choose the longest option.

There is a lot of farming to be done if you want to unlock everything, so if you have arrived late to this Quest, I doubt you'll be able to get everything unless you are prepared to spend cold hard cash! Good luck out there!
