The popularity of building into video games a set of Achievements for the players to work toward unlocking is a well established bedrock in gaming, and The Sims FreePlay is no exception to that - meaning that a set of Achievements has been created and added to the Gamecenter App on your iOS devices!
The Achievements for FreePlay are clever and challenging
The following Achievements are active in the game:

| Penny Pincher | 2 Points | Save 10,000 Simoleons |
| The Diet Ends Here | 5 Points | Bake 5 chocolate puddings |
| Popcorn, Anyone? | 5 Points | Watch 8 movies |
| Barking Mad | 5 Points | Buy a third dog |
| We Need More Taxes! Oh wait... | 5 Points | Build the Town Hall |
| One Mean Sim | 5 Points | Have a Sim with 8 enemies |

| 1000 Goals! | 30 Points | Complete 1000 Goals |
| Wax On... | 5 Points | Have a pre-teen Sim get a Blue Belt in Karate |
| Wax Off... | 15 Points | Have a pre-teen Sim get a Black Belt in Karate |
| Sim For A Spin! | 5 Points | Have a pre-teen Sim become an Intermediate Ballet Dancer |
| Pro Dancer | 15 Points | Have a pre-teen Sim become a Professional Ballet Dancer |
| G...G...Ghost! | 5 Points | Catch 4 Ghost Types |
| Ghost Hunter | 15 Points | Catch all 12 Ghost Types |
| Sim Negotiator | 10 Points | Negotiate with 3 Man-Eating Plants |
The Gamecenter Achievements System was added - along with the related Leaderboards for some games - to extend the social aspect to social networking games. In theory that means you can see what your friends have unlocked and they what you have. So let the competition begin!

Other than the specific tasks known to result in it that are listed in the guide the only other way is random task rewards.
How do I but a cutting board or where?
Really need help!
You can buy a cutting board in the kitchen section of the store after you have all the royal cooking tools (all cooking hobby things you need to collect)

Find a friend with a courtesy house or look in the sim houses of your neighbors for the podium.
Really stuck on the auction podium task
Just tap on the sims, then choose "do tai chi"
I can't find where to complete the achievement where I have to do tie chi in a neighbors park and I have searched the whole place but can't find where or how t do it
You have to click on the person itself. Then you get the menu to do it
Where is beach in sim freeplay
The circle is filling up, does this mean that they are aging?
As the other person said my sim will not go home after visiting another sim, just continues to say ah uh uh and will not go home or do anything else but talk to the other sim. They are both suppose to garden as their next achievement but they both will not go. I see alot of questions on this site, where are the responses?

Hi. I don't have all the achievements but I have noticed that some are "Hidden" on my phone. I know there are some achievements that I've achieved yet I'm not showing them that way. There are 50 achievements and you are missing the following:
Hello Newman 5 pts - A Sim became nemeses with another Sim.
Safety First 2 pts - Your Sim put out an oven fire with a fire extinguisher
You’re on Fire 15 pts - Your Sims put out 23 oven fires using fire extinguishers
Bad Herbs 20 pts - Your Sims used herbicides to destroy 25 man-eating plants
