SimTown Market

The SimTown market was added to the game during October 2016, this update allows you to use spare resources that your Sims have collected during work to trade for prizes.

So this is especially useful for people that have fully upgraded their workstations and have nothing better to do with the resources they are generating.

Basically you earn market points by shipping orders using profession resources, you can then use these points to try to get prizes! Good Luck!

Initially you will go through the SimTown market tutorial, it's pretty simple, but feel free to ask any questions in the comments section below and we'll try to help.

SimTown Market Tutorial

So head over to the police station (or whatever workplace market is currently active for your task) and click the guy holding the package you'll then be prompted to complete the market order, do this by clicking the brown box then the ship order icon. That is the first part of this tutorial completed.

You then need to view the workplace Overview, to do this, click the gold icon at the top left of the screen.

Help a Courier

The next step is to help a courier, you should see him standing outside the workplace where your market is active. A working sim must be present to help the courier. If you don't have a Sim in this profession you can click the sign outside the workplace (with a Sim present) to start him in that Career. Now you have a working sim present, you can begin to help the courier. Tap the courier to see your options., the shortest time option will be enough to complete this task.

Spend a Market Token

If you complete all of the courier's actions within the time limit you are awarded with a Market Token which you can utilise in the market. Again, click the guy with the box icon, then you can select the brown box, then ok, to collect your reward.
