Target: ”Rooster” Desaulniers

When you’re trespassing on enemy turf, the goons will not immediately attack you but you’ll get a hard warning instead. If you choose to ignore their warnings, then that’s the time they’ll treat you as a hostile. You can even use this brief freedom to approach a goon and take him down with the knife, provided that there are no witnesses or other thugs nearby. Of course, there’s always an option to get to a good firing position and take out your primary target before eliminating the remaining enemies with guns blazing.

Drive to the marked location to reach Desaulniers’ turf. Use the intel view to know the enemy locations. Don’t worry about killing his men in broad daylight; the civilians nearby will be terrified but they won’t alert the other enemies or call the police. The pimp will be sitting on his bench in front of his hideout. His house also has several stacks of money that goes directly to your wallet and reduce the racket’s income. Even if you have done enough damage to reduce the racket’s income to zero, all that extra cash will be definitely handy.

Desaulnier’s turf isn’t that large and heavily defended either. You can take out the guards without too much fuss. However, you should prioritize taking out the Sentry first; this special thug is the group’s lookout and capable of calling in more reinforcements. You can start by taking out the outer perimeter guards.

When you have enough breathing space, break in the hideout and take out the lone thug there. There’s a fuse in the room where you can find two prostitutes, on top of the drawer.

When there’s no more prying eyes within the vicinity, you can deliver a silent but brutal death to Desaulnier or go loud and end his life with a gun. Whatever method you choose, the objective will be complete upon his death.

Target: ”Dirty” Gert Delong

This target is found in a densely occupied motel complex with a considerable number of guards and a sentry stationed in the parking lot. Take him out first then dump the body somewhere. Now you can decide what approach you’ll do; guns blazing or go stealth and assassinate the guards one by one.

Guide Image

There is at least one or two roving guards in the area. Don’t worry about the stationary guards or killing the gang members in front of civilians. They’ll either run away or pretend not to see anything. Check out the open rooms for more stacks of cash as well.

After getting rid of the guards outside, you can just waltz in the room where Gert is in and shoot him on the head from the window. After killing him, loot the money stacks and money bag inside the room.

Once you’ve run the racket to the ground, you can now report back to The Voice to proceed with the next step. When talking to him, you’ll be given an option whether to continue (Accept) or not (Decline). Accepting will make all remaining racket objectives disappear and will give you the objective to take down or confront the racket boss. For better money yield and for longer gameplay of course, you may want to complete all racket objectives even if you already reached the required amount of damage to the racket.

After accepting it, the objective to kill (or confront if you have wiretapped info) the racket boss will be given. In this racket, you have no choice but to Kill Merle Jackson. He’s back now at Perla’s so head there and prepare to take him down.
