The War-Torn Hill in Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is an area filled with a lot of enemies that you can defeat in order to get amber. It’s quite easy to complete as well since the objectives that you have require you to simply reach the exit, look for a hidden item, as well as collect amber from the enemies that you have defeated.
The dungeon is also quite linear so you shouldn’t miss out much on anything. There is however, one item that you can’t reach unless you make use of your enemy as a projectile, so how does that work?
On this page we shall see the objectives that you'll need to clear, as well as Tips on how to finish them.
Unlock Requirements: Reach the exit in Coursing Falls
Location | Enemy Strength |
---|---|
Entrance | Day 20 / Night 38 |
Exploration Objective (s) | Star Rating |
---|---|
Reach the exit | 1 Star |
Get amber 8000/8000 | 1 Star |
Get treasure (Spirit Bough) 1/1 | 1 Star |
At the start of the War-Torn Hill, you’ll find some demon rabbits and pigs already. Defeat them and you’ll bring in a second wave of enemies that you’ll have to wipe out. It’s important for you to clear all of your enemies here in order to increase the Amber count that you obtain in order to reach your objective.
As you continue to the right side, you’ll see some demon rabbits that will throw bombs at you. Jump on top of the platform of the first demon rabbit and use Swallow Slice to reach the area above. This should provide you with the Treasure (Spirit Bough) item already which will complete your objective.
You can defeat the first demon rabbit, but spare the one on the right side first. Using your Raiment, fling the second Demon rabbit to the right. You will need to use it as a catapult in order to destroy the boulder that has a box inside of it. This will contain Strength Flakes that you can use for fertilizer. There’s also a Mining Spot there as a bonus.
Once you have obtained the item, you can continue to the upper right side of the hill and defeat every enemy along the way. Eventually, you’ll reach an area where you’ll be fighting waves of monsters that you will need to defeat. This will all count to the amber that you need as well. You can then exit to the right side of the area and unlock Path to Perdition.
In order to complete the amber objective, you’ll have to re-visit this area a couple of times depending on the amount of Amber you have so far. It shouldn’t take a lot since there are a lot of enemies in this location. The only obstacle so far was the boulder that blocked the Strength Flakes, everything else is for your fighting frenzy.
