Fortress Outskirts

The Fortress Outskirts in Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a linear area where you pass through different gates while defeating waves of enemies along the way. It’s simple because you have the objective of reaching the exit, as well as defeating enemies using specific weapon attributes.

Before entering the Outskirts, it would be best for you to go to Kinta and craft the strongest one-handed weapons of each attribute that you need for your objectives. You’ll need a Slash, Strike, and Pierce weapon in order to do this, and one-hand weapons provide you with the fastest strikes.

Upon entering the outskirts, you’ll pass through gates and fight enemies along the way. You can start with whatever weapon attribute you choose, then you’ll have to defeat 30 enemies each time per weapon type. If you want to complete all objectives, you’ll have to revisit this area a couple of times with each weapon equipped.

After you defeat the first wave of enemies, you’ll pass by a bridge. Don’t forget to jump above and climb up on the platform on top since it has a box with Gusto Flakes. You’ll reach the next gated area where you’ll have to defeat more waves of enemies after. The area after this has another bridge, as well as a bush and mining spot on the top.

The final area will have more monsters for you to defeat and they’ll come in waves. Once you have defeated all of them, you should be able to exit to the right side. You’ll want to repeat this dungeon multiple times to complete your objectives as well.

Upon exiting, the next area will be the Armory Compound but it will only appear depending if you have completed the exploration level requirement. You need to have Exploration level 86 and above in order to unlock the next area, so check how much you have on the world map by looking at the lower left side. Completing objectives increases the exploration level, so you might have to go back at older dungeons if you missed out on any easy ones to complete.
