Coursing Falls

Since you’re near a Volcano, things can get really hot right. The water from the surroundings can also get hot, and it can reach to a point where it can hurt you. The Coursing Falls in Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a location that has multiple areas with hot water which can be detrimental to your HP, so you will need to protect yourself.

The objectives in this dungeon require you to reach the exit, defeat enemies with specific weapon attributes, as well as use some resistances. You can prepare for this in advance before entering the dungeon as well. On this page we shall see the objectives that you'll need to clear, as well as Tips on how to finish them.

Coursing Hills Entrance

Before entering the Coursing Falls, you can switch your weapon that has a Strike Attribute. It would be easier for you to use a One-handed weapon for this since your attacks will be quicker, and you’ll have to defeat a total of 30 enemies using this weapon. Just use the strongest one that you have of this attribute.

For your next objective, you’re required to equip Fire Resistance or Waterborne. In order to get this, you can check which Myrthe if you have any food that can provide you with Fire Resistance. Another easier way is for you to get a Scale Hunter’s Garment from Yui since this provides you with the Waterborne ability. It will help you with your dungeon run as well since it provides bonuses.

Once you start the dungeon, keep on heading right and you’ll have to jump across platforms that are over hot water. Along the way, you’ll find a box on the ground that has a Vitality Powder. You’ll then face some Specters that you will have to defeat, so attack them and then retreat to the small piece of land in the middle in order for you to avoid heat damage.

Continue to the right side and you should find a bush resource along the way. You’ll encounter more Specters on hot water, so defeat all of them in order for your Strike attribute objective to count. Once you reach an area with multiple platforms, there will be a mining spot on the lower right side. You can then jump on the platforms head to the top left for another mining spot. On the upper right most area, you should find a box that has Vitality Flakes.

You can exit to the right side and unlock the War-Torn Hill. Before leaving though, make sure to defeat all enemies that you find since this can help with your objective, you’ll need to defeat a total of 30 enemies so you might have to make 2 trips in this dungeon.
