Bubbling Sandbar

The Bubbling Sandbar in Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin as the name suggests provides you with a terrain with a lot of water bubbles once more. This time though, they’re not just high up above but they can move and get in your way when attacking enemies which will cause you to slow down.

This new area provides you with a big location once more, and you’ll have some unique objectives to finish. You’ll need specific Raiment skills at hand as well, then you some items are helpful when completing this dungeon. On this page we shall see the objectives that you'll need to clear, as well as Tips on how to finish them. So, let’s check what we can complete here.

Exploration Objectives

Bubbling Sandbar Entrance

As seen in your mission objectives, you’ll have one that can easily be completed as you enter the Bubbling Sandbar. One of your objectives is to Explore with the Keen Eye effect. You can get this simply by equipping the Kitsune Mask, this is the effect that lets you detect if there are objects nearby. With that out of the way, you’ll have to check three other remaining objectives.

When you start the dungeon, you’ll be jumping down below until you hit an area with water and encounter some wave of enemies. A huge water bubble can get in your way at the middle, so try attacking from the sides. Once the first wave of enemies has been defeated, a turtle will appear. One of your objectives is to flip a hiding turtle over three times. You can do this using your Round Up Raiment Skill once the turtle hides in its shell before attacking. You’ll then have two objectives completed by now.

Your remaining objectives are to reach the innermost area, as well as defeat enemies at night. You can do the night portion post-game once you’re stronger, or if you have accumulated enough in-game years and have plentiful of harvests already. You can continue your way to the right side and ride the bubble that will take you up, you should find a bush and mining spot for resources. At the top of the bubble, you should find a box on the left side that has a Scroll: Nightfall item.

If you head back to the first area with the turtle, you’ll notice that there’s a crevice on the lower left that you can jump down into. Once you drop down, there should be a box to the left that you can get for some Health Flakes. You’ll continue down below and head to the right side, you’ll be fighting some enemies along the way and be surrounded by sharp rocks.

Once you pass the area with clams that have a sharp rock in between them, you can find a hidden area to the lower right by passing through the wall, there’s actually an entrance there that will show you some resources for fish, as well as a box with an Enchantment of True Strength: Water Resistance. You can head back up and then continue you the upper right side.

More enemies will appear and they will come in waves, a huge water bubble is going to move left and right that can slow you down. Once you have finished all enemies off, you’ll then be able to complete the innermost area. You should have most objectives complete by now and you can return later for the night ones.

You’re free to explore the rest of the Sandbar by going to the upper right side and defeating the enemies you’ll see along the way. A box with a Vitality Powder will be along the way to the upper right, and there should be resources such as a mining spot as well as a fishing area that you can get as well. You can come back at this dungeon later once you're stronger in order for you to complete your objective of defeating enemies at night.
