In Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, you’re nearing the peak of the volcano already, and thankfully this area doesn’t have much obstacles. In the Path to Perdition, you’ll be encountering waves of enemy Specters only. All of the objectives that you have on hand will involve defeating these Specters.
This area also has a short cutscene at the end as part of the story, your only focus is to defeat the Specters so this should be easy. You’ll need some specific weapons though if you want to complete some of the objectives. On this page, we shall see Tips on how you can finish them.
Unlock Requirements: Reach the exit in War-Torn Hill
Location | Enemy Strength |
---|---|
Entrance | Day 21 / Night 39 |
Exploration Objective (s) | Star Rating |
---|---|
Defeat enemies 40/40 | 1 Star |
Equip the Undead Avenger power | 1 Star |
Reach the exit (90s) | 1 Star |
Defeat enemies (Night) 30/30 | 2 Stars |
If you check your objectives, you’ll notice that they all involve defeating the Specters that you’ll see up ahead. The part where it says for you to equip the Undead Avenger power comes form the Obsidian Weapons that you can craft from Kinta, so you can check on him if he can craft it for you. You can always go back to this later in the game just in case Kinta cannot craft it yet.
As you enter the area, there will be waves of Specters that will attack you. This is the only source of enemies for this location so your focus is defeating them as fast as you can. Your objectives include killing 40 of these specters which can be done with retries, as well as completing the waves of enemies within 90 seconds.
For your final objective, you can simply return later to defeat the enemies at night once Sakuna grows stronger. You can head to the exit on the right side and then watch a cutscene where Sakuna and Tama will talk about the nearly reaching the top. You should then be able to unlock the Crimson Blaze Mountain -Caldera-.
Before heading the top however, it would be best for you to go Home first and then check for the cutscene that awaits you. As part of the story, it seems that Sakuna will have to go back to the Capital in order to confront someone.
