Amageshi Shrine

Aside from the Eventide Grotto Entrance, the other location that you’ll be able to check is the Amageshi Shrine in Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. Unlike other dungeons in the game, this area is special since it provides you with a different kind of challenge. The Amageshi Shrine is a dungeon that lets you face waves of monsters through different floors, therefore it’s a place for you to test out your skills.

Unlock Requirements: Unlocks after completing Radiant River Gorge

Upon entering the Shrine, you’ll find a rock. The general idea of this dungeon is that you’ll clear monsters for each floor, and have a check point for every 5 floors. You can go to the depths and reach the furthest point depending on how far you have come in the story.

The Amageshi Shrine is more of a post-game section if you plan to hone your skills in fighting or if you’re up for a challenge. Once you are able to clear the 5th floor and so forth, you can continue from there by accessing the rock at start of the dungeon.

One of the challenges that you need to take note of is your HP since it can carry over to then next stage. You can come to the Amageshi Shrine at your own pace since it doesn’t affect the game’s story. You can even reach more than 100 floors below for the challenge as well! You can exit this area if you want and continue progressing with the game’s story, and come back here later.
