Dragon's Tunnel - Delusion's Path

Once you have completed the previous dungeon in Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Sakuna and Tama will be discussing about a possibility of an area in Dragon’s Tunnel that you can visit. If you remember the first time you visited there, there’s a blocked gate at Part 2 there that cannot be accessed.

If you come back to it now, the gate will be open. One of the objectives in this area is for you to find another Elder Elm that is used for repairing the houses at your Home. Also, there’s a special item that you can only find here and it’s needed as part of the story. On this page we shall see the objectives that you'll need to clear, as well as Tips on how to finish them.

Exploration Objectives

Delusion’s Path -Part 1-

In order to reach the Delusion’s Path, you’ll have to go through Dragon’s Tunnel Rear Exit and Reach Part 2. Go back to the gate that’s at the bottom of the pit, and you should find it open. This area is going to be dark, so you’ll need to light it up. Make sure to bring some Oil on hand or else things can be difficult for you to navigate.

Once you’re inside, make your way down the slope to the right and defeat the enemies in your way. You should find a box that contains Oil on the upper right area so get that before you continue your descent to the area below.

More enemies will wait for you on your way down to the slope. Before descending, you can get another piece of Oil from the box that’s on the platforms on the upper left side area. Remember as well that this is optional since you may have a lot of oil on hand already.

Once you reach the bottom area of the slope, waves of enemies will appear including some Demon Bears. You’ll have to take them all out before you can continue to the next area by passing through the door on the lower right.

Delusion’s Path -Part 2-

Once you reach part 2, you’ll gain access to a gate that you can use in order to Home when needed. You can now go down and fight the enemy turtles and fish if you want. Your main goal right now is to head to the right side of that area and jump to the upper right. There will be a platform on the upper right area that has a box containing the Elder Elm, this will complete your objective.

From there, you can continue by jumping to the platform below. Go down the slope to the lower right, you should find some clams along the way. Jump down until you drop all the way to the bottom. You should find another box of oil on the lower right side.

Exit the area from where you go the oil then head to the left side. You will be able to fight waves of monsters. You then have a choice to go to the platform on the upper left, and to continue below. If you go to the upper left, you can find another wave of monsters as well as a box on the left side that contains an Enchantment of True Strength: Skill Boost.

If you continue on your way down, you’ll find another box that has oil. Jumping to the bottom part will give the final wave of enemies that you need to face. Once all of them have been defeated, you can use the door on the right side to go to the next area.

Delusion’s Path -Part 3-

There isn’t any gate here so you’ll have to finish this area. You’ll find a mob of enemies waiting for you, as well as a Red Belly. This isn’t strong so you’ll just have to take it out. Since there are a lot of other demons, you can use your Raiment to crash them against each other.

Once they have been defeated, Sakuna and Tama will talk about Omizuchi. You’ll learn that the water falls nearby is a location to where the evil god might be. After you have completed the cutscene, you’ll get an item called the Kirin Earth. You will be needing this as part of the story later. You can head Home and rest up now and then continue the remaining dungeons.
