The Abyssal Remnants is a special location in in Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruint that you’ll only access one Tauemon has started the festival for Sakuna. This area is special in a way that it isn’t located in the map, and accessing this area will lead you to the game’s ending.

The Remnants are found on the lower areas of the Delusion’s Path. Here, you’ll progress through different floors and get to fight demon enemies as part of your final challenge. There are no objectives here since you just need to reach the bottom until you fight Omizuchi.

Before continuing here, it would be best for you to save your game on a different slot. The Abyssal Remnants can be explored on your own pace, you don’t have to defeat everything here if you are aiming to get to the end of the game. One of the features however in this location is that you can get the Leaf of Creation from one of the resource areas. This can be used for a set of armor from Kinta.

Demon God Omizuchi

Once you reach the bottom, you will get access to the True Depths. Here, you’ll finally meet the Demon God Omizuchi, and find out about Sakuna’s parents. The fight will take you through three segments as you try to take down the three heads of Omizuchi.

Upon starting the fight, you’ll be provided with a button combination in order to protect yourself using your Raiment. The damage that you take can be used in order to store energy and then release it as an attack. Your first fight will involve Omizuchi’s Head of Fire. You will want to stay close to its head and attack it. If you see fire balls, you can simply move to the lower right in order to avoid taking direct damage. Once he starts to spout a stream of Flame, you can use your Raiment shield in order to protect yourself and then retaliate.

After you defeat the Head of Fire, you will now fight the Head of Earth. His attacks include summoning rocks from the ground, as well as striking across the screen. You’ll want to keep your distance near its head in order for you to take damage. There’s an attack that it can use where it can summon a meteor from the sky. Once this drops on you, you can use your Raiment shield and then burst back its energy.

Defeating this will finally lead you to the Head of Water. You’ll have to focus your attacks on the middle and avoid orbs of water falling from the sky. It strikes with its claws left and right as well, and it can shoot water balls that Home in on you. If it summons the orbs from the sky, you can simply wait in safety on the side. Use your Raiment shield once it uses the water balls that home in to your location.
