With different water bubbles and other obstacles about, you might get confused where to find the Elder Elm. On this page we shall see the objectives that you'll need to clear, as well as Tips on how to finish them.

Cascade of Eternal Darkness -Part 1-

When starting out in this area, you’ll find a water bubble that you can use in order to go up. There will be some monsters there that you can clear out for resources and amber, you should also find a box that contains Reducing Remedy. From there, stand on the left edge and wait for another bubble that will bring you to the left side.

There will be more enemies on the left as well as a box that contains an Indigo Scale. There should be another water bubble you can that will take you above and to the right. You’ll face multiple demon rabbits as you head up the slope so take them all out. Your goal is to reach above and make your way to the upper left. Clear out the enemies along the way and you should find a mining spot at the end with some Ice.

Ride the water bubble that’s beside the mining spot and make your way to the very right side. You will end up in an area with some enemies, as well as a box that contains a Powder of Transformation. There’s a rotating water bubble there so ride it and then drop off at the platform on the upper left side.

At the edge of the platform on the left, there’s a water spot that you can stand on. There should be a view of the waterfalls at the background. Wait for the water bubble that will lift you to a platform on the upper right. From there, you can wait for another water bubble that takes you to the left side, you’ll find a Box with the Elder Elm. Another to get this is to enter part 2 from the world map and head to the left back to part 1, you can then simply use the water bubble to reach it.

You can go back to the platform on the right side and clear out the enemies you’ll find there. Once all of them have been defeated, you can continue to the right exit and move on to the next part.

Cascade of Eternal Darkness -Part 2-

There should be a gate here that you can use in order to go Home and rest up. Once you continue, you’ll get to face enemies already by the water. Defeat the Specters and clear them out before you can proceed to the right side. Ride the water bubble and make your way to the platform on the upper left until you find some enemy clams.

You can clear them out as well, or you can ride the bubble that will take you further to the area above. Once you reach the top, you’ll find more clams as well as some turtle and badgers. You can defeat all of them for some materials as well as get resources from the bush.

There’s a bubble on the right side that can take you across. You should find a water area filled with Specters as well as water bubbles coming down from above. Defeat the specters and check out the mining spot on the right before you continue your way up. You will find numerous platforms that you can climb up to, and there’s a box with Magic Flakes on the very upper left side.

Once you make your way to the upper right area, you’ll get to fight your last wave of enemies. A water bubble will be rotating here and It can disrupt your attacks. You can continue to the next area by going to the right once all of them have been defeated.

Cascade of Eternal Darkness -Depths-

A gate will be waiting for you, use it in order to go Home and rest if you want, or you can perhaps continue all the way. Once you pass the gate, you’ll get to face the Specter Demon Catfish. It’s similar to the first one you have battled, and it’s more aggressive.

Watch out for its new spinning attack

Watch out for its roar since it will indicate its use of skills such as rock spikes from the ground as well as Ice falling from above. It now has a new attack where it can spin in place and attack with the splashes of water. Once it goes to the background and foreground, wait for it to land on the ground since it will be stunned.

Once you have defeated the Specter Demon Catfish, you’ll complete your objective as well as obtain 3 pieces of Health’s Bounty. You can now head Home after and have dinner in order to unlock the next area which is the Fort of Undying Shadows. If you head home as well, you’ll learn that there’s a new area in Dragon’s Tunnel that you’ll be able to access.
