A new mechanic will be added to your side scrolling adventure where you can destroy walls with skills. As instructed, open the in-game menu and check the Skills tab. Here, you’ll be able to equip your first Fighting Skill called Frontal Smash. This will let Sakuna swing her weapon, and hitting the rock will cause it to hit the wall and get destroyed.
As you go to the level below, you’ll find some Demon Rabbits as well as a stone nearby. One of the objectives for this dungeon is for you to defeat 15 enemies with skipping stones. Use your Frontal Smash to hit the stone and use this to knock out all of your enemies. This can require multiple hits, and you’ll find another stone nearby just in case.
Once all enemies have been defeated, you can go to the left side and hit your First Mining Spot. You’ll then go down the slope and you’ll find a rock nearby. Use Frontal Smash and this should fling the stone all the way to the right side and hit the rabbit. Jump towards that location by using your Raiment.
A box will contain a Scroll: Divine Raiment 1 item, and you’ll also find your Second Mining Spot here. Gather all of the items, then you can go to the left. Hit the rock with your Frontal Smash so you can fling it back to the slope on the left, you’ll need this rock to defeat the enemies below.
The enemies will be near a stone wall that you can destroy using a skipping stone. You’ll find the Third Mining Spot here which will complete your objective. Make sure that the enemies here are defeated using the stones as well for your other objective, there should be 2 waves of monsters there. You can continue by climbing up to the upper right side.
You’ll notice 3 stones above you, you’ll need to climb this ledge and move to the left side of these rocks. Use Frontal Smash to fling the rocks to the right side. You’ll need them to clear the enemies, but you’ll also need a rock on your way up the slope.
You’ll find a stone wall on the right side of the pit. Make sure that you’ve pushed the stone nearby so you can fling it and destroy the wall successfully. You’ll find a box here that has the treasure called Spirit Bough (Health Boost), this completes one of your exploration objectives. You can continue your way by heading back to the left side and climbing up the rock.
Before continuing up the hill, you can find a hidden item on the left by jumping across and reaching it with your Raiment. There’s a box there that will contain and Powder of Transformation item. Once you have that, you can go back to the rock and head up hill. Once you reach the top, you should be able to find more stones and some enemies. Defeat them with the stones if you haven’t completed your other objective yet.
There are waves of monsters here you’ll defeat, finishing them all will complete the objective of Clearing the innermost area. If you’re able to complete three objectives in this dungeon, you should be able to unlock the Den of Fangs as your next destination.
