The Gunpowder Molehill in Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is similar to the previous dungeons you have encountered so far. You continue your way through the area and fight demons along the way who have been working together, but it seems like they’re starting to use advanced methods of taking you down.

In the Gunpowder Molehill, you’ll find different barrels everywhere that can have items, but there are also those that are dangerous. Gunpowder is now used by the demons, and they can provide hazardous since they can catch flames and then explode!

Starting off in the area, you’ll find barrels that and pots that you can destroy. Once you see the first batch of demons that you’ll fight, they are surrounded with a lot of items. You’ll find that there are red barrels, and these can get caught in flames and then explode. The demon rabbits that are throwing bombs can trigger them, but you can also light them up once you attack it.

Part of your objective is to destroy environmental objects. These include the barrels, so light it up and keep your distance. The explosions will destroy the other objects, as well as hurt the demons as well. Be careful since the explosions will hurt you. There should be more barrels on the right side inside a cave, as well as a box that contains 3 pieces of Ginjo Sake.

Continue by climbing over the cave, you’ll find more enemies and red barrels that you’ll need to destroy. Once you have passed by the look out tower, you can jump to a pit down below and destroy the barrels and enemies there as well.

At the bottom left of the pit, you should find more enemies and barrels. You can go to the very left side in order to find a box that contains a Demonic Braid. Once you go to the very right side, you’ll find more enemies as well as red barrels this time. Detonate the barrels and defeat your enemies first, and you can then use your Raiment to go the platform above, there’s a box with the Treasure (Spirit Bough) for your objective, plus a mining spot.

Once you have destroyed all objects and defeated all the enemies here, you can head back up the pit from where you jumped off to and then make your way to the upper right. Once you have passed through the gate, you’ll have to defeat the enemies waiting for you. You can then exit to the right after and clear your other objective. You’ll now gain access to the Fortress Outskirts.

You can go Home and check with Kinta if you have weapons you can craft. In the next area, you’ll need to prepare different weapon attribute types in order to complete the objective there. Make sure to use any powders from your previous dungeon runs and use them on your fertilizers so you can get better bonuses.
