What are Nook Miles in Animal Crossing? This is a reward system provided to you by Tom Nook. Complete different tasks provided and you’ll be earning Nook Miles. This can be exchanged for rewards through the Nook Stop in Resident Services.

Stamp collection and earning Nook Miles

In order to get Nook Miles, open the app and you’ll be provided with a list of tasks available. Once you have completed a task, you get a stamp for the day and you’ll be awarded with Nook Miles.

Different tasks have different stamp amounts. Some tasks can only be done once, while some can be done in different days. You can check your progress for a task by looking at how many stamp spots are still available.

Use 5000 Nook Miles to pay off your first debt

When you’re done with Arrival day, Tom Nook will provide you with your itemized bill. This includes your tent, your fare, and stay at your island. However, since you do not have Bells to pay, Tom Nook will instead ask you to pay him through Nook Miles instead. You can pay this for your first bill only. Future home upgrades will require you to pay with Bells.

You can get 5000 Nook Miles within your first day, read the tasks about fishing, catching Bugs, and more and you should rack it up it no time.

Unlock Nook Miles+

You can upgrade your Nook Miles membership to Nook Miles+ after paying your first debt. With Nook Miles +, you can complete tasks indefinitely and you won’t need to obtain stamps. This way, there’s no limit for getting Nook Miles in case you have a normal task that has been completed with stamps already.

5 tasks will be shown to you at Nook Miles+. Once a task is completed, this will be replaced with a random task. They provide double rewards in terms of Miles and it’s a good way of earning them.

Redeeming Nook Miles

You can only use your Nook Miles to pay off your debt once. After that, you can use your remaining miles by redeeming it through the Nook Stop at Resident Services. Interact with the machine at the corner and you can redeem it there.

Redeeming Nook Miles lets you gain access to special upgrades and skills, as well as having customization options. You’ll need this as well to get a Nook Miles Ticket that lets you go to other Islands for resources. More rewards will be available as you purchase more items so always check it often.
