How to check if there is a meteor shower

In order to know if there’s a meteor shower at night, you’ll have to take note of the morning announcements. Once it’s night time, you’ll notice that the sky is clear and there won’t be much clouds.

The schedule of shooting stars will range from 7 PM to 4 AM the next day. Having a clear sky can happen anytime between this time period.

How to unlock the Star Wand and Zodiac Recipes

In order to unlock the Star Wand, you’ll have to find Celeste in your island. During night, Celeste will appear on your island and she’ll tell you that she’s going to study the sky. This is a good indicator as well that shooting stars will appear.

When you first talk to her, she will give you the Star Wand Recipe. For the future times you’ll get to meet her, she’ll provide you with Zodiac Recipes per visit.

How to wish upon a star

Whenever there are Shooting Stars, you can look up to the sky by pressing the R stick and pointing it upward. For each Shooting Star you see, you’ll need to make a wish by pressing A.

Since the schedule starts from 7 pm until 4 am, you can do this more than 100 times for every shooting star that you see, this can be challenging since you’ll have to wait for shooting stars to fall.

Pick up Star Fragments, Large Star Fragments, and Zodiac Star Fragments

In order to get your rewards for wishing, you’ll have to comb through the entirety of your beach the next day. You can pick up Star Fragments, Large Star Fragments, and Zodiac Star Fragments (the latter of which are rarer). You’ll have to go through the beach more than once if you wished a lot the previous night.

What does a Wand do?

Aside from the Star Wand, there are other wand recipes in the game. A wand lets you register up to 8 outfit choices so you can change into them anywhere that you want. In order to customize your outfit choices, you’ll have to register them on your wardrobe or changing room.

Register eight outfits of your choice and then save them. You can even register your current outfit if you wish. Once you have registered all of your outfits, they’ll be added to your wand’s capabilities.

When you use the Wand, a ring will appear that lets you choose one of the eight outfits that you would like. This will only change the Appearance of your character, but the actual outfit you are wearing will be the exact same item.
