How do you grow a Money Tree?

How do you grow a Money Tree in Animal Crossing: New Horizons? It’s not as simple as burying bells directly, but there are steps that you need to do in order to grow them.

Step 1: Look for a golden light coming from the ground. This appears randomly each day, and its easier to see them at night. Once you find one, dig it using your Shovel and you’ll get some bells.

Step 2: Bury some Bells. It’s recommended that you place 10,000 in order to get 30,000 bells in return guaranteed. Bells above 10,000 can still be buried, but getting the triple amount is not guaranteed. Some players are able to bury 99,000 bells and got the triple amount, do this at your own risk.

Step 3: Wait for 3 days in order for the Money Tree to grow.

Step 4: Harvest the Money Tree, you can also replant them somewhere else if you want as decoration.

Take note that Money Trees will only provide Bells ONCE. After you harvest the bells, it will become a normal tree. You will have to do the process al over again and look for a new golden spot.
