What is Bunny Day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons? This Holiday begins from April 1st until April 12th and you’ll be able to get some eggs to collect. These eggs are used for Recipes that you can learn that will provide you with an Easter themed collection.


Zipper the Bunny

You’ll get to meet Zipper the Bunny during this holiday event. You’ll be informed that there are numerous eggs hidden all over your island and that you have to collect different kinds of recipes. There is a total of 37 collectible recipes. Once you have completed all recipes, you’ll be provided with 2 recipes as a present.

How to collect Eggs

There are 6 types of eggs available, and you can collect them the same way you collect your resources. Here is the list of eggs that you can collect during this holiday event:

Earth Egg: You can get these by digging cracks on the ground, similar to how you get Fossils. Make sure that you have a Shovel in your inventory.

Leaf Egg: These can be found on trees; you can collect them by shaking the tree and letting the eggs drop. Be careful of possible Wasp nests.

Sky Egg: These can be obtained from rainbow Balloons floating around. You’ll have to shoot them down using a Slingshot.

Stone Egg: You can obtain these by hitting rocks with a Shovel. Rocks provide up to 7 items so make sure to walk towards the rock each time you hit it so you don’t get pushed back.

Water Egg: You can obtain these by trying to Fish. There will be instances where you’ll get a Water Egg instead of a fish. Make sure to have a Fishing Rod on your inventory.

Wood Egg: You can obtain these by hitting trees with an Axe. It’s recommended that you use the Stone Axe in order to prevent the trees from getting chopped down completely.

How to get Bunny Day Recipes

There are different types of recipes available that you can collect during this event. You can obtain recipes through the following methods:

* Collect Eggs and learn a Recipe on your own by checking the egg’s pattern. There are 3 recipe patterns for each type of egg that you can learn. Make sure to collect all eggs until you're able to learn Recipes for an Outfit, Shell, and Shoe of each type.

* Learn Recipes from Villagers. During this event, some villagers will speak to you and share a Bunny Recipe that they would like to share.. This makes meeting them important so make sure to talk to everyone each day.

* Presents from Rainbow Balloons. Aside from dropping Sky Eggs, you can learn Bunny Day Recipes as a gift.

* Bunny day Messages in a Bottle. Aside from regular bottled messages on the beach, you can find a rainbow colored one that will provide you with Bunny Day Recipes.

* Zipper the Bunny. The final two Recipes will be provided as gifts from Zipper.

Bunny Day Recipes Checklist

In order to keep track of which recipes you’ll need to collect; you can refer to the table below as your checklist. The Egg Party Hat and Egg Party Dress can be obtained after you collect all 6 Bunny Outfit sets.

The final 2 Recipes are the Bunny Day wand and the Wobbling Zipper Toy. These are the presents that Zipper will give you once you have completed the 37 hidden recipes. Craft the Wand first and show it to Zipper, and he'll provide the Toy Recipe after.
