How to Recruit Nana

This adorable senior sharpshooter is found in the location marked in the map. To get her location, you need to get a tip from a scout, like any other mission. She’s hanging around in her makeshift shooting range called Nana’s Perch.

While other companions will just require you to help them with their plight, Nana will require you to best her through three shooting challenges. For these challenges, I suggest using a bow or slingshot (with arrows loaded) since they have faster reloads and can be pretty accurate.

For the first challenge, head to the marked spot in the range. You’ll need to shoot all 10 helmets on a stake scattered in the range before the timer ends. To save time, shoot the farthest one first to start the timer. Remember that you can hold your breath by pressing R3 (if you have purchased the corresponding perk) for a more steady aim. You have a minute to shoot all 10 helmets.

For the second challenge, you have to do the same but this time, the poles will be bobbing up and down. You’ll have 1:30 minutes to complete this task so take your time and time your shots properly. After completing the second challenge, talk to Nana again.

Follow her to the top of the broken silo for your third challenge. From here, you’ll have to shoot the balloons as they rise. Like before, shoot the farthest balloon to start the challenge and from here, aim a bit higher to compensate with the gradual rising of the balloons. You have to shoot all 10 of them within the time limit.

For the last challenge, you’ll have to deal with real targets. Several highwaymen will arrive at the location and you must help Nana put them all down. After killing all hostiles, follow Nana back to the ground and talk to her to complete the mission and successfully recruit her.
