This is one of the nearest outposts in Prosperity and should be one of the earliest outposts you should liberate. The outpost is surrounded by wooded hills, perfect for easily scouting the place. There’s a mortar that you can trap to kill anyone who will attempt to use it. There is also a watchtower facing the road and another scouting post with an MG emplacement near the mortar.. You should take them out silently with a bow or suppressed weapon to lessen the detection risk.
For the remaining enemies, as long as you’re able to tag them, you can use the surrounding terrain to sneak behind enemies. Expect there are enemies working on the actual forge, downhill near the mortar’s position. At Rank 2, enemies may deploy patrol dogs which can detect you easily if you get too close. Timber can scare them away or even killing them without alerting the enemies inside.
On higher difficulties, on top of at least two patrolling enforcers, you may encounter suicide bomber dogs. If Timber’s HP is high enough, you can send him to “tank” the damage by intercepting these dogs. Even two suicide dog explosions won’t take out a LV3 Timber. Always booby-trap the mortar to prevent enemies from using it and to damage them as well. Proximity explosive usage is also recommended but you have to be careful where you place them to avoid premature detonations that can ruin your “undetected liberation” attempt.
You can refer to the sample videos below on how to achieve undetected or at least "No Alarms" liberation. Due to some random factors out of your control, like random animal attacks or friendly NPCs wandering near the outpost and triggering a response from enemies inside, you should adjust your strategy accordingly.
