Can I bring Guns for Hire in expeditions?

Yes, you can bring a companion for an expedition. Make sure to set your preferred Gun for Hire before starting the expedition since you can’t switch companions during an expedition. Since the later part of the expedition requires running and shooting, bringing in heavy gunner companion like Gina, Hurk, Carmina, and Jerome to help you a lot. However, that doesn't mean you can't bring your preferred companion.

During the extraction sequence, you don’t need to wait for your companion; just board the chopper first and they’ll be conveniently teleported inside the chopper. If you boarded the chopper and left a wounded companion behind, he/she will be considered as out-of-commission and you’ll have to revive him/her from your Roster menu. The package and your safety is always your priority; don’t go back and revive an injured companion especially if you’re already in the extraction point.
