Prerequisite: Available as soon as you reach Hjara.

Upon reaching Hjara, talk to the irritated researcher inside and he’ll tell you about an unknown source of interference that’s messing with their communication equipment. First, examine the console beside the researcher to continue this sidequest. Make sure to scan any nearby tech if this is your first visit to the site.

After updating your objective, head to the marked location to find a meteorite freshly lodged in the ice. Shortly after, a horde of wild adhi will attack you. These buggers will attack at close range and can overrun you if you’re not careful. You can jump and pound them from above if they start surrounding you.

After taking care of the attackers, scan the meteorite. Next, you’ll have to interact with it to dampen the signal. As soon as you start the dampening process, another group of adhi will rush to your position. You can stop the dampening and deal with them first or just hold your ground and take manageable damage while continuing your dampening. Either way, deal with the adhi and complete the dampening process to complete the mission.
