Forgotten Stars

Prerequsite: Available after reaching Havarl.

Talk to Raashel Vier in the Pelaav Research Station to learn that she left her work in her now abandoned home. She needs to recover that valuable research but unable to do so because of the dangerous wildlife prowling the area.

Head to the marked location. Surprisingly, her home was a few steps north of the research station. Head there and kill all the ferocious wildlife. Once done, loot the mineral container and use the database only to find that the data has been damaged.

Next, you have to find a buried network access node near the second forward station to the east. Simply use your scanner to trace the underground connection and locate the half-buried console. After finding it, interact with it to recover the data. The mission will be completed without reporting back to Raashel.
