The Secret Project

Prerequisite: As soon after landing in Eos, after restoring power in Site 1.

This mission begins immediately after reaching Site 2: Resilience, south of Site 1. Head inside the main building and activate the power terminal inside. A large fiend will be released and at the same time, a kett force will arrive. You have defeat the kett and the large fiend. The fiend itself is a threat; it doesn’t have shields but its hide acts like a heavy armor. Not to mention that it has a ranged attack and can cause heavy damage with its melee attacks. Power Combos will work well against it.

The kett will move around and try to flank you. Be careful especially of the shielded Annointed ones and their heavy Weapons. Use your cover and prioritize taking out the softer, unarmored and unshielded kett footsoldiers to lessen the burden quickly and have your teammates concentrate on both the Annointed and the fiend. Your teammates will most likely get knocked out in battle so make sure to revive them whenever you can.

After defeating the kett and the fiend, examine the other side of the building where it escaped and examine the console. You’ll learn about the secret weapon the engineers are trying to complete to defend against the Kett but since they didn’t have enough time to finish it, they divided the project to three different parts. The first component is found in the same room where the fiend was held while the other two are marked in the map to the south.

The second component is found in the wreckage of a shuttle, by the lakeshore.

The third component is found inside the kett base up the hill, beside a forward station location and a monolith. Clear the enemies outside then find the generators powering the shields to disable them. Once done, enter inside to trigger a scene. This is where you’ll meet the Krogan Drack for the first time.
