The Lost Scout

Prerequisite: Available after completing “Meet the Resistance”

Talk to the angaran named Haana in the resistance base’s western exit. She’ll ask for your help in finding a lost scout when they destroyed a kett Weapons depot. The scout’s location will be marked in your map.

Head to that location and disembarked at the still-burning ruins of the kett Weapons depot by the mountainside. Follow the mission marker to find the door. The scout is located inside the locked room, first door to your right as soon as you enter. Use your scanner to trace the connected power conduit that leads to the door ahead.

Follow the conduit to find the terminal behind a door with broken glass. Hit it with a melee attack to shatter the glass and enable you to enter the room. Activate the console to restore power to the locked door earlier. Open the door to trigger a cutscene.

You’ll have the option to leave Mashal for her to continue her interrogation of the kett prisoner or kill the prisoner to convince her to return. Either way, this should complete the task. Report back to Haana to complete the mission.
