Prerequisite: Returning to the Nexus after checking out Eos.

Talk to Shapiro in front of a terrarium outside of the Tech Lab (Second floor, Docking Bay), Talk to him to learn about the power shortages and agree to help him.

You have to find and scan the damaged equipment inside the Tech Lab and the Cultural Exchange Center. Use your scanner to locate and scan these defective equipment.

Upon entering the tech lab, you can find the damaged equipment on the wall to the left.

In the Cultural Exchange Center, find the broken equipment on the left hand side of the VI.

After finding the two equipment, travel back to Operations to find the points of failure that caused the outage. After checking the damaged console on the eastern side of the operations area, you’ll find a creature inside Kesh’s office. You’ll then have the option to capture it or kill it. This will conclude the task.
