Cora Harper: Asari Ark

Prerequisites: After visiting Aya or downloading the data from the wreckage of the asari escape pod on Eos.

When you get this quest available, head to a terminal and read Cora’s email. Next, talk to her in her room while on The Tempest and she’ll tell you the news that some asari refugees have showed up in Eos. You’ll need to go there next to get more details about the whereabouts of the asari ark.

Travel to Eos and activate the quest. Follow the mission to the shelter where the asari named Hydaria is located. Talk to her to learn more about the ark’s whereabouts.

Next, the mission’s next part can be accomplished once you reached the icy angaran world of Voeld. You have to locate the escaped survey vessel Periphona’s signal in an attempt to find the crew and maybe learn where the asarian ark is. As you drive close to the second forward station point and the angaran settlement Hjara, you’ll pick up the signal that matches the Periphona. You have to investigate the spot marked in your map where the signal is emanating.

As you get near the signal’s source on top of a hill, there’s nothing in sight but ice. Head to the marked location to learn that this could be a false-positive and the real source of the signal is close. There will be multiple sources that will be highlighted in the map. You don’t need to check all of them however; simply locate the one in the farthest eastern side of the map.

After finding the Periphona’s wreckage in Voeld, clear the area of Kett. As you reach the wreckage, more Kett reinforcements will be dropped so take cover and kill them all. Once clear, scan the transponder. During the cutscene, Cora will be able to review the flight recorder. The next step for this mission will be on hold until Cora decipher’s the transponder. Make sure to scan two adapted techs in the area to get a good amount of Research Data.

Note: While the mission status is “On Hold”, this is not entirely true. The “Asari Arks” objectives ends here. However, upon progressing in the main story mission “Hunting the Archon” where you have to interrogate a prisoner in Kadara Port (Outcast HQ), this mission is completed automatically and continues to the succeeding loyalty mission “Cora Harper: At Duty’s Edge”.
