Prerequsite: Reach the top of Mithrava Sanctuary during the mission “A Dying Planet”

You can start this by talking to Sage Amurd, on top of Mithrava. You can only continue with this sidequest after you find a way to cross the chasm. Crossing the chasm is part of another sidequest “A Dying Planet” and can be done side by side with this assignment.

One of the objectives of “A Dying Planet” will require you to clear a camp in Old Pelaav to locate Taavos. The archive system you have to access is found on the eastern side of the camp. You can easily identify it since it’s dark and has no power. Interact with the archive system to trigger the next objective.

Find the generator at the back of the room then interact with it to repair it and restore power to the archive system. Return to the room and interact with the console again to retrieve the data. Report back to the sage to complete the mission.
